Each unique pewter ornament was designed & hand made by Pewter Crafters of Cape Cod!  This year’s ornament is a cranberry scoop, which it so fitting for Harwich!

Ornaments cost $15.00 each* & a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Family Pantry!

Newbury Street South Salon would like to thank the Harwich High School Senior Class of 2011 for helping us make this year’s Cut-a-Thon OUR MOST SUCCESSFUL ONE YET!  Congratulations to the seniors & to our INCREDIBLE STAFF…Who donated their time & talent for 6 straight hours!  You’re all AMAZING!

On Sunday May 1′st we raised $1,475.00 for The Harwich High Class of 2011, and the class is generously donating ½ the proceeds to Kevin “Fitzy” Fitzgerald, 15 who attends Nauset High School, and is a local resident of Wellfeet.  Kevin has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), and is being treated at Boston Children’s Hospital.  After several rounds of Chemotherapy Kevin is in now need of a bone marrow transplant, and is currently searching for a donor.

Nauset High School is holding a Bone Marrow Drive on May 19th from 2 – 6pm, and we urge you to go. To be a bone marrow donor you’re required to be at least 18 years old.  Other than having to wait in line, the registration process is quick!  Just a simple 2 second swab & a couple of minutes filling out paper work and voila…with in 2 months you’re in the registry!
